Comfortable, Hospitable and Stylish
Feel welcome and enjoy our Arabic hospitality. Up to 62 guests can stay at our inn in 32 single or double bedrooms and suites, as well as dine at our stylish restaurant, whether it is for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
An oriental atmosphere with European standards is what defines our guesthouse, which was opened in 2003 and lies at the heart of Beit Jala. Our guesthouse transmits a soothing quiet, whether it is on the inside in the lobby or outside in our uniquely arranged garden and terrace area.
Our inn is consciously and architecturally integrated with the 19th century Lutheran church and its historical adjoining buildings. Floors and walls are mostly built out of natural Jerusalem stone. The centuries-old, underground vault, which was partly developed into the restaurant area, is truly spectacular. Arabian ceilings, painted walls, arched windows, inlaid marble work on the floors – Abrahams Herberge is a great example of the detailed architecture of the Holy Land.
Within this ambience lies the modern living area with its large single and double bedrooms: an elevator, individually adjustable air conditioning, phone, television, a bathroom with shower or tub. The kitchen and the restaurant area also serve highly modern standards. Furthermore, there are meeting rooms available for 10 or 35 persons.
All of this is complimented by our unique and individual service. The hospitality and warmth of the Palestinian staff is truly exemplary.
For teens and young adults, there are several group rooms with bunk beds located at the historical hostel part of the inn. They are equipped with modern and convenient pine furniture, as well as showers, sinks, and toilets.
